A Day at the Vet

After collecting "samples" in the dark this morning, it was time to take Aussie to the vet for her annual physical. I took her and left the other two at home whining. Her visit went okay..she's fine, except she has a fatty cyst on her tummy, and she's going back on clomicalm in preparation for her visit to the kennel. I brought her back home and took Blue for his vaccines. I brought Blue back and took Jake for a thyroid test. The test is to determine if his excess weight gain and general lethargy are do to a thyroid problem.
Aussie 49.5 lbs
Jake 54 lbs
Blue 81.40 lbs.
All in all, besides the expense, it took about 3 hours ..
and i wonder where the time goes :-)

Your post on the day's activities would make a great logic problem. Blue must get his vaccines. He never goes to the vet before Jake. Aussie needs to go to the vet in the morning soon after making a sample. Jake is overweight. He takes longer to make a sample than Aussie and Blue. Blue weighs the most. He has no problem making a sample. Jake must go in the afternoon. Aussie cannot go after Blue. Blue cannot go after Aussie. The vehicle travels at a rate of 55 mph. A train leaves New Jersey at the same time heading West at 235 mph. How can you get all three dogs to the vet before picking up your son at the train station?

I thought shoreturtle's comment was highly amusing :-)

Can I get an award for being the first non-family member to post a comment? Or maybe a special animal related honory family nickname?

ST's comment was hilarious. But I refuse to do math related problems on the weekend!!

Hope all the doggies enjoyed their big day! Handling Pippin's sheer exuberance at the vet is enough for me, I can't imagine having three of him!

Rae: maybe we can call you dog walker..we could call you dog runner, but it doesn't look like Pippin likes to run :-)

The trip to the vet is always a joy. They're always, as you say, exuberant, that's why they go separately. Thank goodness the vet is 5 minutes away.
